US President, Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump have landed in London on a state visit.
Air Force One landed at Stansted Airport this morning and the President was pictured waving as he and the First Lady disembarked.
The US President is in the UK for three days. The Queen will throw a state banquet at Buckingham Palace in his honour tonight after he meets Her Majesty for lunch and Prince Charles and his wife Camilla for tea. Prince Harry will also attend the private lunch at the palace but Meghan will be home with their newborn son.
Immediately after Trump landed in London, his first act on British soil was to go on Twitter and call out Sadiq Khan, the London Mayor. He referred to Khan as "A stone cold loser" (read here). He said Khan has "done a terrible job as Mayor of London" and "should focus on crime in London, not me". This comes after Mr Khan referred to Trump as a "21st century fascist".
