Dangote Cement Plc launches the second season of her 'Dangote Bag of Goodies' national consumer promotionIn a move to empower her consumers economically with life-changing rewards, Africa's leading cement producer, Dangote Cement Plc launched the second season of her 'Dangote Bag of Goodies' national consumer promotion, which aims to make 1000 consumers millionaires. This was disclosed at the unveiling media press conference held in Lagos on Wednesday 15th July 2020. The Group Managing Director/CEO, Dangote Cement Plc, Michel Puchercos stated that this promotion is a way of rewarding new and existing consumers with the much-needed palliatives, especially in this period of COVID-19, by creating 9 millionaires daily and a total of 1,000 millionaires in 16 weeks. The spell-and-win consumer promo, which started on the 15th of July, 2020 and will run till 15th of November, 2020 is not only aimed at providing palliatives for customers after a tough year but also to stimulate the COVID-impacted construction and real estate industry towards an accelerated recovery. The President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote is known to never shy away from investing in Nigeria and this is another way the Dangote group is contributing to the larger economy by re-injecting over a billion naira in the promotion.  In addition to the prize money, consumers will be rewarded with tricycles, motorcycle, television sets, refrigerators, Dangote Food goody packs, recharge cards and many other exciting prizes. The Group Managing Director, Michel Puchercos also stated that the prizes being offered in the promo are tailored towards changing consumers’ standard of living and the prizes will have an economic ripple effect as they can be used to kick off small scale businesses especially in the face of the COVID-19 global pandemic with many families losing their source of livelihood. “Dangote Cement ‘Bag of Goodies Promo Season 2’ is to serve a dual purpose, allow consumers of our products to continue their projects while at the same time stand a chance of becoming a millionaire or proud winner of prizes such as tricycle, motorcycles etc.”, he said. The promo was validated by the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), Lagos State Lottery Board, as well as the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Council, Lagos Office. The Deputy Director/Coordinator, NLRC (Lagos Zonal Office), Nkiru Onuzulu, expressed that there are no doubts that Dangote will deliver on its promise to the consumers who participate in the promo. The General Sales and Marketing Manager of Dangote Cement Plc, Funmi Sanni, also remarked at the event, that the season 2 promo was launched to delight Dangote’s consumers after the success of the debut promo in 2019. , Dangote Cement Plc launched the second season of her 'Dangote Bag of Goodies' national consumer promotion, To participate in the promotion, consumers are to buy any promo bag of Dangote Cement during the promo period, pick out the scratch card inserted in the bag, scratch it open to see what you have won and go to the nearest Redemption Center to collect your prize.
