Algeria’s President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has tested positive for Coronavirus and is currently being treated in a German hospital. Tuesday November 4 announcement ended days of speculation about the North African President's health. His office said in a statement; “Tebboune continues to receive treatment in a specialised German hospital after catching the Covid-19 illness. "The medical staff reassures that the president is responding to treatment, and his health condition is gradually improving, in accordance with the requirements of the health protocol."
